The base of the beautiful Kaaterskill Falls, in the Eastern Catskills region of New York. A two tiered waterfall, Kaaterskill spans an amazing 260 feet in height. It's one of the higher waterfalls in New York, and one of the Eastern United States' taller waterfalls.
My photographs are inspired by my love for impressionistic art. I use long exposures to stretch a moment of time into a sense of soft motion, color and form. Clouds play a special role in all of my landscapes. Lit by the golden light of a sunset or sunrise, each landscape is a work of art made by nature, displayed only for a brief moment, and never exactly the same. I return to the same location many times, and often spend hours waiting for just the right light and conditions. I am awed by nature and its palette, and my passion is to share this beauty with you.
