This church, an architectural landmark, was designed by the highly regarded Victorian-gothic architect Edward Tuckerman Potter who also designed the Nott Memorial on the Union College Campus.
My photographs are inspired by my love for impressionistic art. I use long exposures to stretch a moment of time into a sense of soft motion, color and form. Clouds play a special role in all of my landscapes. Lit by the golden light of a sunset or sunrise, each landscape is a work of art made by nature, displayed only for a brief moment, and never exactly the same. I return to the same location many times, and often spend hours waiting for just the right light and conditions. I am awed by nature and its palette, and my passion is to share this beauty with you.
